推奨イベントにもカスタムパラメータの追加は可能なのでしょうか。

GA4 推奨 コマースイベントに item_category6 は追加できるか？というご質問です。テストを行ってみました。

なお、itemのデータが取れているかどうかの確認方法を知りたい方は、こちらのアユダンテ様の記事が大変分かりやすく、オススメです。

結論から申し上げますと、推奨イベントで、item_category6の追加はできないようです。

以下、テスト内容を解説させていただきます。

テストには、purchaseイベントを使用させていただきました。

テストに使用したdataLayerはこちらで、推奨のイベント パラメータ には入っていない、 item_category6を付けてみました。

上記の中のcategoryの所が分かりやすくなるように改行を入れて、取り出してみました。

上記を見ると、推奨のパラメータである、categoryの1～5までは所定の書式で処理されていますが、

item_category ＝　ca
item_category2 ＝　ca2
item_category3 ＝　ca3
item_category4 ＝　ca4
item_category5 ＝　ca5

item_category6: “Winter”,

として追加したdataLayerは、

~k0item_category6~v0Winter

という形で処理されています。eコマースのcategoryとしてデータが上手く取得できているかどうかという点で言うと、断言はできませんが、書式が明らかに異なります。

DebugViewではどうか

ペイロードでは　item_category6　は書式は違っても存在は確認できたのですが、DebugViewの「アイテム数」のデータだと、item_category6の存在は確認できませんでした。

まとめ

今回の実験結果から見ますと、item_category6の追加はできないということになるようです。
